A Moment In The Sun: Minor Characters Take Centre Stage

The theme of this vidshow is fairly self-explanatory: vids about minor characters who don't get a ton of love or attention in canon. What constitutes a "minor character" is up to your discretion; generally, think characters who don't have a dedicated storyline of their own, or don't get much solo screentime. Think Grace in Interview With The Vampire or Evelyn in Our Flag Means Death. Obviously the line between "minor character" and "supporting character" can be blurry; it can also be challenging to vid for characters without a ton of screentime, but that's the fun of it! Comment below to submit any vids you think might fit the theme, by yourself or others. If a vid ends up making the rough cut, I will contact the vidder to make sure I have access to a copy. For self-recs, I made a vid for Yuna in Semantic Error who I think qualifies by the definition you list: https://archiveofourown.org/works/43541080, she doesn't have a dedicated storyline of her own and doesn't get any solo screentime always in the context of the main characters/friendsgroup but it's also basically movie-length and as the 'supportive best friend of main character in romcom' structure she is a supporting character, but in time/plotline she's a minor character, though this is partly because of the length of the source, the just don't have time for character work beyond the two main characters' romance really.

Would you be interested in premieres? I've clipped for a vid for Jaeyi from Beyond Evil (she has her own stuff going on to some degree but it's tied in with the serial murder plot that's the focus for the main characters). I haven't decided on a song yet, but if you'd be up for a premiere that'd be good encouragement to make a decision an make the vid! If so, it'd be great to know by what deadline you'd want the vid.

I would LOVE to include premiers! I'll set the due date for May 6th, since that's the deadline for premiers submissions overall.

\o/ It turns out having very limited footage makes putting a vid together fast, so I now have a complete first draft and should definitely have a final draft before May 6th. Since I have a draft, let me know if you want it for placing purposes as you put together the show (obviously it might tighten up or shift around with beta but the structure/tone is there).
